President/CEO

Edward J. Jaten, President of HRG, is also a co-founder of EDEN Property Company. Mr. Jaten started his real estate career in 1988 and has extensive experience in all facets of ground up real estate development. Prior to forming EDEN, Mr. Jaten was the Partner in charge of Retail Development for over eight years at ARC Properties, Inc. a New Jersey based Developer and Investor in retail properties. Both at EDEN and ARC, Mr. Jaten’s responsibilities include: originating new opportunities; acquiring and entitling commercial properties; marketing and leasing; and project design and construction. To date Mr. Jaten has completed numerous retail developments with national tenants that include: Home Depot; Stop n’ Shop; Office Depot; Circuit City; Walgreens and McDonalds.

Chief Operating Officer

Anthony Braun joined HRG in January 2008 as the VP of Operations and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in May 2008. Mr. Braun is a food service executive who recently joined HRG from Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. Prior to his tenure with Dunkin’ Brands Mr. Braun held several key positions ranging from Consultant to Franchise Operations Director with Domino’s Pizza (DPZ). Mr. Braun joined Domino’s Pizza during their private ownership and worked through the public offering purchase by Bain Capital in July 2004. Mr. Braun was also a Director of Operations and then promoted to the Chief Operating Officer of Brick Oven’s, Inc. from 1991 until 1999. Mr. Braun’s responsibilities at HRG include providing leadership to the operations, training and accounting teams, as well as management of all operating systems. Mr. Braun lives in downtown Pittsburgh in the Strip District.

Chief Financial Officer

Dennis V. Cieri, co-founder of EDEN Property Company, started his real estate career in 1986 as a Commercial Real Estate Broker. Mr. Cieri is also a licensed attorney and has spent his career focusing on leasing and redeveloping undervalued retail properties. Prior to EDEN, Mr. Cieri was Director of Real Estate and General Counsel for the Nassimi Organization, a New York City based Investor in and Developer of commercial and residential properties. Mr. Cieri’s specific duties include: site acquisition; lease and contract negotiations; project marketing; and financing.

VP, Real Estate

Michael Orie, a Pittsburgh native, joined EDEN Property Company in June of 2005 and heads the Pittsburgh office and will coordinate and oversee real estate operations for EPC/HRG in the Pittsburgh market. Specific concentration will be acquiring and entitling well situated retail sites for store expansion. Prior to joining EPC, Mr. Orie successfully traded treasury futures for 10 years at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT). He still maintains his membership on the Chicago Board of Trade.

VP, HR & Marketing

Robyn Frederick, joined HRG in January 2008 as the VP of Human Resources and Marketing. Mrs. Frederick joined HRG from Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. where as an HR professional she was an integral part of building the people succession plan to assist Dunkin’ Brands in the national expansion strategy. Prior to Dunkin’, Mrs. Frederick held several positions in the food service industry with leaders such as Chipotle Mexican Grill and ARAMARK Refreshment Services. In addition to her food service background, Mrs. Frederick also spent over five (5) years as the HR Director with U.S. Equities Realty, LLC, an asset management and real estate development firm in Chicago. Mrs. Frederick will be responsible for the people processes, recruitment strategy, and cultural experience as well as developing the marketing strategy for HRG.
